WomenCell of B.C.M College of Education, Ludhiana celebrated Women’s day with greatfervor, zest and zeal thereby sensitizing the future teachers about theunprecedented elevation of women in the Indian society and across the globe. Allthe students participated whole heartedly reciting poems, songs, dance, motivationalstories presenting P.P.Ts etc highlighting the different roles of Women andshowcasing the 21^st century empowered women. Speaking on theoccasion, Dr. Sangeeta Arora, Incharge of Women Cell, voiced that the purposeof ‘Women’s Day’ was to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and politicalachievements of women. She raised the slogan-‘Aurat Dashaa Nahi, Disha Hai’.Principal of the college, Dr. Monika Dua, encouraged and appreciated thestudents by saying that they truly stood up to the motto of the Women Cell-“Learnto live”.
