B.C.M.College observed National Voters’ Day in order to encourage more young votersto take part in the political process. Ms. Swati Tiwana , Joint Commissioner –cum ERO 060 – Ludhiana East addressed pupil teachers and motivated them tobecome responsible citizens of the nation by contributing in the formation ofthe government. She enlightened all present to make right use of their voting rightbecause every vote counts. In addition, Ms. Swati distributed voter cards tothe voters who will cast their vote for the first time. Sh. O.P. Kapoor,Superintendent, Sh. Abdul Sataar, Superintendent, Sh. Ashwani Kumar, Supervisorwere amongst the dignitaries present on the occasion. Dr. Manminder Kaur,Associate Professor of the college extended vote of thanks for this initiativeof Government of India to permeate awareness related to voting procedure andrights and duties of voters.
