Red Ribbon Club of BCM College of Education organized arally to celebrate ‘National Voters Day’ with an endeavor to make the publicaware about their ‘Right to Vote’. Dr. Monika Sethi, flagged off the rally andmotivated the students by saying, “Be the change you want to see”. The studentsand the staff participated in the rally with full zeal and fervor. Studentsprepared informative banners, posters, flashcards and raised thought-provokingslogans viz. “Vote for better India” ; “Jann Jann par upkar hai, Vote hamaraadhikaar hai” , “Tuhada Vote, Tuhadi  awaazetc. ‘National Youth Day’ was also celebrated to commemorate the birthanniversary of the great philosopher, philanthropist, Swami Vivekanand Ji. Acultural programme was also organized wherein the students presented speeches,incidents, motivational songs, educative power point presentations related tothe life of Swamiji. Mr. Karandeep Singh, Ms. Lakshmi and Ms. Rajwant baggedfirst prizes in English, Hindi and Punjabi Essay writing competition respectively.Dr. Monika Sethi congratulated the coordinators of the Club, Ms. Suprerna andMs.Amandeep Kaur for the successful completion of the activities of the club.
