Literary Club in collaboration with Hindi Dept. of B.C.M. College of Education celebrated Hindi Diwas with great zeal and fervor to promote Hindi and to spread awareness about the language. The celebration began with the recital of the Gayatri Mantra. Principal Dr. Monika Dua welcomed Dr. Sarabjit Kaur Brar, Member Academic Council, P.U. Chandigarh, Asst. Prof.G.H.G. Harparkash College of Education, Sidhwan Khurd & Dr. Prem Kumar, Secretary, B.C.M, College Managing Committee. Speaking on the occasion, he emphasized the importance of Story Telling by saying that Storytelling is a unique way for students to develop an understanding, respect and appreciation for other cultures, and promote a positive attitude among people from different lands, races and religions. Dr. Sangeeta Arora deliberated on the core elements of a Story and acquainted the participants with the rules of the competition. 17Students participated in Online Story Telling Competition & narrated thought provoking stories viz. ‘Do Haath, ‘Akeli’, ‘Haar Gya Lekin Khud Se JeetGya’, ‘Kafan’, ‘Thakur Ka Kuaan’ etc.  ThePanel of Judges including Dr. Sarabjit Kaur & Ms. Jasmeet Kaur adjudged Ms.Jyoti, as First, Ms. Kashish & Ms. Priyanka as Second & Ms. Jyoti Third. Principal Dr. Monika Dua congratulated the winners and appreciated the efforts of Teacher Incharges Dr. Sangeeta Arora & Ms. Jasmeet Kaur Bedi.
