B.C.MCollege of Education, Ludhiana concluded a week long Skill Will programme on Feb.27, 2018 to equip the would-be teachers with excellent communication andemployability skills. During the week different sessions were conducted byeminent educationists and resource persons to inculcate the professional ethicsand code of conduct among would be pupil teachers. The esteemed resourcepersons who enlightened the pupil teachers with their expert views include Ms.Kusum Lata, Dr. Ashoo Toor, Dr. Charanjit Singh ,Prof. Rashmi Grover, Mr. VikasKharbanda, Dr. H.S. Aulakh. On the concluding day, Mock Interview Session wasconducted to prepare would be teachers for challenges of world of work.Panelists for the interview were Dr. Vandana Shahi (Principal, B.C.M Sr. Sec.School, Dugri, Ldh.), Sh. D.P. Guleria (Principal, B.C.M Sr. Sec. School,Chandigarh Road, Ldh.), Dr. Suresh Aggarwal (Principal, Tagore InternationalSchool, Sahnewal). Students of different streams were interviewed and givenspecial tips by the panelists. Feedback given by the panelists to everyinterviewee will serve as a landmark of their path to success. Sh. S.K. Mehta Jigraced the auspicious occasion of Valedictory Function of Skill Will Week andappreciated the efforts done by the college to prepare skillful teachers forbetter India. Dr. Monika Dua welcomed dignitaries of the day and applauded theefforts of Skill Will Week organizers. She motivated would be teachers tobecome successful in life by meeting the need of the hour.
