Women Cell of B.C.M College of Education, Ludhiana celebrated International Women’s day with great fervor, zest and zeal thereby sensitizing the future teachers about the unprecedented elevation of women in the Indian society and across the globe under the guidance of incharges Ms. Gagandeep Kaur & Ms. Shilpa. The celebration began with remembrances of Goddess of Strength, Wisdom & Vibrant Energy by chanting Dugra Mantra. Ms. Riya & Ms. Jeewanjyoti recited poems, Mr. Gursharan Singh, Mr. Kapil, Ms. Harpreet Kaur and Ms. Chahat sang melodious songs, Ms. Sudiksha enthralled one and all with her mesmerizing dance performance. Mr. Rahul shared PowerPoint Presentation highlighting the achievements of women in different fields. Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Gagandeep Kaur voiced the purpose of celebrating ‘International Women’s Day’ by securing women’s rights and shaping more tolerant and equitable societies.
