BCM COLLEGE CELEBRATED 75^th INDEPENDENCE DAY

Social Science Club of the collegecelebrated 75^th Independence Day on the theme-“Azadi ka AmritMahotsava” with great zeal and enthusiasm. The celebration began by recitingthe holy Gayatri Mantra. Principal of the college, Dr. Monika Dua in her formaladdress reminisced the sacrifices made by the great freedom fighters duringIndia’s freedom struggle. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Prem Kumar, SecretaryB.C.M. College Managing Committee, said that India’s position in the globalscenario has improved owing to the country’s achievements in various fields. Hestressed on the need to build skilled man force to help India ascend the ladderof success.  Students very ferventlyrecited poems, sang patriotic songs, presented Power Point Presentations anddanced on popular nationalistic tunes filling one and all with a spirit ofoneness, fraternity and patriotism. Dr. Manminder Kaur, Associate Prof.proposed vote of thanks. Dr. Monika Dua appreciated the efforts of theparticipants and the Teacher Incharges of Social Science Club.
