INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATED AT BCM COLLEGE

Fun, frolic, zest and enthusiasm marked the celebration of International Women’s Day at BCM College as Women Cell of the College organised a colourful extravaganza  of varied events viz. Singing, dancing, PowerPoint Presentation, Mehndi Designing, Cooking without Fire & Poster Making Competitions. On this august occasion, Dr. Prem Kumar, Secretary, College Managing Committee appreciated the students for their zealous participation in this post pandemic celebration. The day began with recital of Bhajan by Mr. Karan followed by lucid deliberation by Ms. Akanksha & melodious songs like ‘Dehleez Pe Mere Dil Ki’ & ‘Maa’ by Ms. Shruti, Ms. Kuljot & Ms. Akanksha. Ms. Amrita and Ms. Rajnit enthralled one and all as they tapped their feet on the popular dance number ‘Dil Hai Chota Sa’ while Mr. Baldeep Singh showcased a PowerPoint Presentation on ‘Women Empowerment’. The function concluded with a harmonious bhajan by Ms. Shruti, Mr. Sumit, Mr. Karan & Mr. Arun which made the audience nostalgic. Principal, Dr. Monika Dua congratulated Women Cell Incharges Dr. Sangeeta Arora & Ms. Hardeep Kaur on the success of the gala. The results of the aforementioned competitions are tabulated below:
