An Online Poem Recitation Competition entitled ‘Tarang Jeewan Ki’ was organized by B.C.M. College of Education, Ludhiana in collaboration with Dept. of Youth Welfare, Panjab University, Chandigarh via Google Meet Software Application. Principal Dr. Monika Dua welcomed Dr. Nirmal Jaura, Director, Youth Welfare, P.U., Chandigarh & Dr. Prem Kumar, Secretary, B.C.M. College Managing Committee. 23 students from various colleges affiliated to P.U. Chandigarh participated live in this competition. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Nirmal Jaura appreciated the efforts of the college for providing an online platform to the young talent by selecting an appropriate theme ‘Tarang Jeewan Ki’ during this COVID time. He encouraged the participants to move ahead in life with positive spirit. Dr. Prem Kumar also motivated the participants and congratulated the faculty and participants for putting up a wonderful virtual show. Mr. Abhaijeet from LLRM College of Education, Moga was declared first, Ms. Sanniya from Pratap College of Education, Ludhiana got second position, Ms. Shivani from Govt. College for Girls, Ludhiana alongwith Mr. Bavanjot Singh from Govt. College, Sector 20, Chandigarh shared the third position & Mr. Kartik from Atam Valabh Jain College, Ludhiana was adorned with appreciation prize.
