550^th BirthAnniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji was celebrated at B.C.M. College withgreat zeal and enthusiasm to pay homage to the great messenger of God. The daybegan with Shabad Gayan as students devotedly sang gurbaani hymns ‘Satgur NanakPargateya Miti Dhund Jag Chanan Hoa’. Students recited poems, delivered speechesand showcased Power Point Presentations on the life and times of Guru Nanak DevJi. Song titled ‘Nanak Da Putt Haan, Teraan Teraan Tolaanga’ sung by a B.Ed.student Mr. Gursharan Singh, left the audience spell bound. M.Ed. student, Ms.Tejinder Kaur narrated the sakhi of ‘Wali Kandhari and Guru Nanak Dev Ji’ toconvey a virtuous message Do good toothers and good will come back to you. Principal Dr. Monika Duaalso paid tribute to the religious innovatorShri Guru Nanak Dev ji by citing ‘Pawan Guru Paani Pita Maata Dharat Mahat’.  Present on theoccasion, Dr. Prem Kumar, Secretary College Managing Committee, reminisced thephilosophy of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and motivated the future teachers tofollow his footsteps by quoting a gurubaani shabad
