NSS Wing in collaboration with Eco club of BCM College of Education observed World Environment Day 2025 on the theme-“Ending Plastic Pollution Globally” according to the guidelines of Director, Youth Services, Punjab Yuva Bhawan, Chandigarh on June 4, 2025. This event was marked as a part of the campaign started by Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change aimed to create awareness about ill effects of Plastic Pollution . In this regard, enthusiastic BCMites took a pledge aimed at promoting sustainable practices and innovation to address the plastic waste crisis. The faculty members and students made a solemn vow to reduce plastic production, increase recycling, reuse and develop biodegradable alternatives.
