MATHEMATICS CLUB

Mathematics Club has been launched by Mathematics department of BCM College of Education with a motive to inculcate genuine interest in Mathematics and Mathematical activities. Through this club, students gets an opportunity for extra learning in addition to the course content.

Aims of Mathematics Club:
Mathematics Club has been more educational value for improvement of math’s education. It has following aims:

• To inculcate heuristic attitude among the students.
• To maintain students interest.
• To develop creativity and encourage habit of exploration.
• To develop in children a sense of healthy competition for better cause.
• To encourage critical thinking.
• To develop habits of cooperative working among students.
• To widen their outlook and enable them to apply their knowledge.

WOMEN CELL

Women cell is functioning in the college keeping in view the social ,economic and value crisis and threats which the womanhood face .

MOTTO:- ‘Learn to Live’

Objectives:

• To sensitize the future teachers towards the status of women in India.
• To provide information to future teachers regarding women’s contribution in the development process.
• To educate people regarding equal status to women.
• To prepare women regarding women grievances as far as women problems are concerned like:
  • Dowry
  • Sati
  • Female foeticide
  • Status awareness(Literate/Illiterate)
  • Educational facilities
  • Financial awareness
  • Let future teachers know human rights charter in favour of women.

• To provide women a glimpse of the efforts of Indian Govt. to empower

Proposed Activities

• 3 R’s education of Women workers.
• Co-operative store in the College.
• Visit to a local Anganwadi Centre.

Enviromental Club

Eco-Club works in the college keeping in view the social,economic,political and value crisis and threats which the humanity faces and these threats are quite alarming.
Here regarding Eco-Club , we have our constitution, Rules and Regulations , various activities, Objectives so that we can serve humanity on our behalf by making our students aware about the environmental issues and in turn taking their help to disseminate the information to the society at large.

Objectives:

• To sensitise the public to the problem of pollution.
• To show clear picture of economic,social and ecological interdependence.
• To provide opportunities to acquire knowledge , attitudes, commitment to preserve the environment.
• To inculcate the sense of responsibility towards the development of Planet Earth & appreciation of its beauty.
• To develop critical thinking and problem solving skills.
• To organize seminars, workshops on environmental issues.
• To develop environmental sensibility and sensitivity

Literary Club

Objective of Literary club :-

Fine Arts Club

Fine arts club is functioning in the college. The objectives of fine arts club are :

• Development of aesthetic sense amongst the pupil teachers.
• Building up of self-confidence.
• Bringing satisfaction and happiness not only amongst the people around you but also within oneself.
• Fine arts club helps students to take up art activities as it helps in communication.
• Helping Pupil Teachers in understanding people around i.e. worldwide through art activities.
• Helping P.T’s to express one’s mood, feeling, thoughts, faith through one’s creations i.e. SELF EXPRESSION.

Home Science Club

Home science club works in the college so as to draw knowledge from physical, biological and social science for better, healthier and happier homes.

Objectives:-

• To help each individual student to lead a more satisfying personal, family and community life.
• To help in finding solutions to various home and family problems.
• To provide the students with guidance and the opportunities to grow up in the social graces, managerial ability and competence in house making skills.
• To become earning members of the family.
• To make a proper utilization of various household assests.
• To provide professional training to girls, to learn the art of home management.

Proposed Activities:

• Various H. Sci. competitions like Mehandi, Deserts & Salad preparation, Crochet, Embroidery, Dasuti, Best out of Waste, Flower Arrangement, Pakkhi Making etc..
• Home – Science Quiz competition to clear the concepts of various areas of Home – Science.
• Holding exhibitions for recognizing and appreciating the creativity of students.
• Motivation, Guidance and participation of students in various Inter- college and University level competitions.
• Making models, charts and Decorative items.
• Holding discussions, meetings and seminars.
• Rendering College services on various occasions, various activities like cooking, stitching etc.
